Tags tell Galamento who is in each photo. There is no face recognition, so tags from parents (and jumper numbers the analysis can read) are how every child gets counted. A photo tagged with three children counts for all three.
Tag before you send
After choosing photos you see Who's in these photos?. Your child is selected already.
- Tap other children to tag them on all chosen photos.
- To tag one photo only, open that photo's own tags ("Also in photo 3").
- A photo with "No one tagged" still uploads; it can be used for team moments.
Got a tag wrong?
You cannot change tags after sending, but the organiser can fix them on the dashboard. Or delete the photo under Your photos and add it again with the right tags.
Children without photo consent
Some children are marked "no photo consent" by the organiser. If you tag one of them, the photo is hidden from other parents and never used in any video. That is deliberate, and it protects the families who asked.
