Important: These terms and conditions apply to galamento.com and everything on it: the website, every season page and video share link, and the emails we send.
In short
These terms are the agreement between you and Tech Ale OÜ, registered in Estonia, for using Galamento at galamento.com. The full terms follow this summary. Please also read the privacy policy and the acceptable use policy.
- Who sells Galamento. Galamento is provided by Tech Ale OÜ. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders and handles payments, receipts, tax and billing questions.
- Where we sell. Galamento is offered in the United States, Canada (excluding Quebec), Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
- Adults only. You must be 18 or older to create a season, add photos or buy anything, and you confirm it on screen: organisers when they first sign in, parents and supporters on each phone before their first photo or Family Reel. Children do not use Galamento themselves.
- What you buy. Paid plans are one-off payments per season, not subscriptions. The free plan's limits are shown on the pricing page.
- Refunds. Ask within 14 days of purchase: a season plan is refunded in full if no final video has been exported for that season with the paid plan, a Family Reel before the reel has been made, and a Club Pass before any season it covers has had a final video exported. Paddle handles all refunds; see the Refund Policy. Your statutory rights, including any right to withdraw under consumer law, are not affected.
- Organisers confirm that they have checked their club's or school's photo consent arrangements, mark every child whose family has not consented, add first names only and share the season link only with the team's families and supporters.
- Your photos stay yours. You give Tech Ale OÜ a licence to store, process and show them to the season's members and to put them in the season's videos and Family Reels, for as long as the season exists. We never use photos for advertising or to train AI models.
- Seasons are deleted after their plan's retention period (90 days on Free, 12 months on Team, 3 years on Team Plus and Club seasons), with an email 14 days before. Download your video well before your banquet, presentation night or prizegiving.
- Music and software. Videos use music licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, credited automatically. Parts of Galamento are open-source software listed in the open-source notices.
- Safety. We may hide content, suspend a season or close an account that breaks the acceptable use policy, and we report content that endangers a child; see the child safety statement.
