How Galamento works

The whole journey in five minutes, from creating a season to showing the video at the banquet.

Galamento collects a season's photos from every family through one private link and turns them into a fair slideshow for the banquet. There are three kinds of people involved.

  • The organizer (usually the team manager or a volunteer parent) creates the season, shares the link, keeps an eye on coverage, edits the video and pays if needed. Only the organizer has an account.
  • Parents open the link, pick their child once and add photos. No app, no account, no password.
  • Viewers watch the finished video through its private share link.

The journey

  1. Create the season

Sign in with your email address, then add the team name, sport, the banquet date and a photo deadline, and paste the roster of first names. See Create a season.

  2. Share the link

Copy the ready-made message into the team chat, or print the QR code. See Share the season link.

  3. Parents add photos all season

Photos are made smaller on the phone and upload in the background. Parents tag their own child and can tag teammates. See Add photos from your phone.

  4. Keep it fair

The coverage list shows how many photos each child has. Copy a friendly reminder for the children who need more. See Coverage and reminders.

  5. Get the video

After the deadline the first cut is built automatically: every child appears, the best shots fill the rest, and it is fitted to the music. Edit anything, then export. See How the video is built.

What it costs

You can do everything on the free plan with up to 150 photos and one 720p video with a small end card. Team ($52) and Team Plus ($105) are one-off payments per season. See Plans and upgrades.
