The photo deadline
The deadline is the last day for uploads, five days before the banquet by default. After it, the first cut of the video is built automatically. You can also press Build my video now earlier if you have enough photos.
If the banquet moves, change the event date and the deadline in the season's settings. The dates must still be in order: the deadline on or before the banquet.
After you export
The season stays open for a while after the final export, so late photos can still go into a Family Reel or a second export. Thirty days after the export, the season closes for new photos and parents see "This season is closed for new photos." They can still download or delete the photos they added. A season you never export closes thirty days after the banquet.
Reopen a closed season
If photos are still coming in, open the season dashboard and choose Reopen for photos under Season. Parents can add photos again straight away, and the season closes by itself thirty days later. While a season is open, its deletion date is paused.
Keeping and deleting
How long the season's photos and videos are kept depends on the plan: 90 days on Free, 12 months on Team and 3 years on Team Plus and Club seasons. You get an email 14 days before deletion, with a download link for the original photos on paid plans. See Delete photos, seasons and your data.
