How it works
From one link to the big screen
Organisers spend two minutes setting up. Parents spend seconds adding photos. Galamento does the sorting, the fairness and the timing.
Step 1 · You, the organiser
Create the season and share one link
- Sign in with Google or your email address (no password), then add the team name, sport, the prizegiving date and the photo deadline.
- Paste your roster of first names. Add shirt numbers if you like, and mark children who should not appear in photos.
- Share the link, a QR code or the ready-made message in the team chat. Free seasons hold up to 150 photos.
Step 2 · Every family
Parents add photos from their phones
- Parents open the link, choose their child once, and pick photos. No app, no account.
- Photos are resized on the phone and uploaded in the background, with automatic retries when the signal drops.
- Location data is removed before upload. Each family sees the team’s progress and “photos of your child”.
Step 3 · You, the organiser
Keep it fair all season
- The coverage list shows every child and how many photos they have against the target.
- One tap copies a friendly reminder naming the children who still need photos.
- Any parent can report a photo; it is hidden straight away and you decide what happens.
Step 4 · Automatic, after the deadline
Galamento builds the first cut
- Hidden, reported and no-consent photos are left out. Near-duplicates and bursts are grouped and the best one kept.
- Photos are grouped into chapters for each game, tournament or event, with suggested titles.
- Every child gets the same minimum number of appearances first, then the best shots fill the rest, fitted to the music. Your leavers get a tribute at the end on paid plans.
Step 5 · You, the organiser
Edit, export and share
- A live preview plays in your browser. Swap, remove or add photos, rename chapters, change the style or the track.
- Export the final video: you get an email when it is ready, an MP4 to download for the big screen and a private link to share.
- Families can get a Family Reel of their own child, ready for phones.
What we never do
- Face recognition or face detection, of any kind
- Ask AI who is in a photo, or guess anyone’s age or appearance
- Store surnames or birthdays of children
- Show seasons in search engines or a public gallery
- Add advertising or tracking pixels
- Bundle copyrighted pop music
