Roster and photo consent

How the "no photo consent" flag works, what parents see, and how to mark your graduating players for a tribute.

The roster is the list of children's first names for the season. It drives everything: the "I'm a parent of…" choice on the season page, tags, coverage and the roll call in the video.

Many clubs and schools record whether a family agrees to photos. If a family has said no, mark that child No photo consent.

  • On your dashboard the child shows with a lock.
  • Any photo tagged with that child is hidden from other parents.
  • Those photos are never used in any video, Family Reel or thumbnail, even if other children are in them too.

Parents of that child can still choose them on the season page, so a family can add photos of teammates without their own child appearing anywhere.

Graduating players and tributes

Mark children who are leaving the team at the end of the season. On Team, Team Plus and Club seasons the video ends with a tribute section: a title card for each of them, followed by their photos.

Changing the roster

You can add children during the season, for example when someone joins late. Duplicate first names need an initial, like "Sam B.". If a child leaves the team and their family asks, remove them from the roster.

Questions

A photo shows a no-consent child in the background. What happens?

If the photo is tagged with that child, it is hidden and never used. If it is not tagged but you spot the child, tag them on the dashboard and the photo is hidden at once.

Can a family change their mind?

Yes. Change the flag at any time. Removing consent hides the photos straight away; videos exported earlier are not changed, so export again if needed.
