The season link is already private: it is long, random and never listed by search engines. A PIN adds an extra lock for clubs that want one. Parents enter it once on each phone.
Set a PIN
Open the season's Share screen and find Season PIN (optional). Enter 4 to 8 digits and save. The message "PIN saved. Share it with the link." confirms it worked.
Share the PIN separately from the link if you can, for example said out loud at training or in a different message.
Change or remove the PIN
- Change it: save a new PIN. Everyone is asked for the new one the next time they open the season.
- Remove it: clear it and save. You will see "PIN removed."
What parents see
The season page asks for the PIN before showing anything. If a parent types it wrong, they see "That PIN doesn't match. Please check it." After five wrong tries from one phone in 15 minutes they see "Too many tries. Please wait a few minutes, then try again." This stops anyone guessing the PIN, while a parent who mistypes is only locked out briefly.
